Listed below are items that are specifically and categorically excluded. Other items may be excluded at driver discretion. Please note: If you have an unusual item you want to bring to school for a
legitimate purpose, please check with Transportation Manager prior to transporting. The state law requires everything must be secured on a bus.
- No animals or pets (dead or alive) or animal parts such as antlers.
- No weapons, including squirt guns.
- No skis, ski poles, snowboards, hockey sticks.
- No glass containers.
- No large items that can’t be held on lap.
- No explosives, including firecrackers, sparklers, etc.
- No ice skates, unless carried within a case held on lap.
- No sleds, only roll up sides.
- No controlled substances. (Drugs, other than by RX, alcohol, etc.
- No flammable liquids.
- No selling items on bus.
- No items that the driver feels are dangerous.
- School projects are not always safe on the bus. If the driver deems unsafe or oversized the items will not be transported.
- .All basketballs, baseballs, softballs etc. need to be in a bag.
- No laser pens.
