(Katie Groedyke, Paraprofessional): I love being a paraprofessional.  It's amazing to see that little light bulb that they've got just clicking every time you work with them. I love it and would never trade it for anything. I love my job. 

(Voiceover:) Starting pay for a paraprofessional is around 21 to $23 an hour. Paraprofessionals can be eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits, sick and personal days, a retirement program, and follow a school schedule.
