100% Online Learning Program - Edgenuity
Steamboat Springs School District recognizes that due to the COVID-19 global crisis, families may wish to explore an online alternative to in-person schoology for their students. Ultimately, we would like for all of our students to return to in-person schooling as this is the best for kids both in a social, emotional, and educational way. Recognizing, however, that for some families the online option is preferable, we’re providing online options for all grade levels. The following information explains the K-12th grade options for Online-Only education. (*Information in this document is subject to change as we receive new information from state and local health officials)

School District Emergency Closing Plan
The superintendent will determine school closures, early/late dismissals or delayed school day start in the event of hazardous weather or other emergencies that threaten the safety, health or welfare of students or staff members. When a decision is made regarding school closure or school day schedule changes, this information will be posted on the district and school web site, emailed to parents/guardians via Infinite Campus, recorded on the district and school phone message system and sent to the media (radio and television stations) as soon as possible. Depending on the nature of the emergency or closure, a phone message may also be sent out to parent/guardian contact numbers via the Infinite Campus emergency message system. For more information please review SSSD Administrative Policy F-6: School Closings and School Day Schedule Changes
