Superintendent Search: In-Person Listening Sessions Jan. 27 | Búsqueda del Superintendente: Sesiones Presenciales de Escucha el 27 de enero

The Steamboat Springs School District Board of Education invites community members to share their input in person at superintendent search listening sessions on Tuesday, January 27, at the District Office. Feedback from these sessions, along with responses from the online survey, will help inform the selection of the district’s next Superintendent.

SSHS Students Zoe Anfang and Shea Speer Selected as Boettcher Scholarship Semifinalists

Two Steamboat Springs High School students have been selected as semifinalists for the prestigious Boettcher Scholarship, one of Colorado’s most competitive and respected scholarship programs. Zoe Anfang, a current SSHS senior, and Shea Speer, a recent SSHS graduate, were both recognized for their exceptional academic achievement, leadership, service, and character.

Grow Your Own Educator Fund Awards First Round of Grants to Strengthen Local Education Workforce

The Yampa Valley Community Foundation (YVCF), in partnership with Routt County’s school districts, is proud to announce the first round of awards from the “Grow Your Own" Routt County Educator Advancement and Recruitment Fund, a collaborative initiative helping local current and aspiring educators advance their careers in education.

Kim Lemmer and Jane Toothaker Join the Steamboat Springs School District Board of Education

The Steamboat Springs School District is pleased to announce that Jane Toothaker and Kim Lemmer were sworn in today as members of the Steamboat Springs School District Board of Education. Toothaker and Lemmer replace outgoing board members Katy Lee and Chresta Brinkman, whose terms concluded this fall. Both new members will serve four-year terms.
