Gifted Education Advisory Committee

The purpose of Gifted Education Advisory Committee (GEAC) is to provide insight, support, and encouragement to the Gifted and Education (GE) Department and the Steamboat Springs School District (SSSD) community in order to facilitate the continuous improvement and success of the GE program.

We are looking for interested parents and/or guardians to join the Gifted Education Advisory Committee (GEAC). The GEAC at Steamboat Springs School District (SSSD) was formed as a hub for positively oriented action in January 2024. GEAC members are inclusive of diverse perspectives of all families and through communication and collaboration with the SSSD Gifted Education staff, will work together to create a thoughtful and sustainable difference in the lives of our gifted education community.
