Nominations are now open for the 2025–2026 Steamboat Springs School District Educator of the Year award.
The program recognizes not only classroom teachers, but also counselors, specialists, paraprofessionals, nurses, and other staff who make a meaningful impact in our schools. This is an opportunity to honor employees who build strong relationships, support student learning, and demonstrate leadership within their schools and the broader community.
Each school will name its own Educator of the Year. One of those individuals will be selected as the Steamboat Springs School District Educator of the Year.
Nominees may be submitted by a colleague, parent, or student. To be considered, nominators must complete the nomination form or submit a letter of recommendation addressing the following criteria: effective instruction, relationships, and demonstrated leadership.
Please submit all nominations to your building principal by April 27, 2026.
